This includes the continual evaluation of our processes and keeping up to date with the latest innovations and technological advancements regarding energy efficiency and minimising fuel and water consumption

Bronaar is a member of the Sustainability Initiative of South Africa (SIZA), a programme that promotes sound and ongoing improvement of ethical labour practices on South African fruit farms and pack houses.

Everyone deserves to know where their food comes from

We are transparent about our practices and with strictly regulated pesticide use to ensure the health and safety of our workers and of our consumers worldwide. We have gained the necessary international certifications to satisfy the requirements of our quality-focused customers. Some of our top priorities are keeping our soil and water in top condition and samples are regularly taken to monitor them. High quality crop care products are used to keep delivering outstanding crops.

Sustainability in agriculture

Sustainability means different things to different people. At Bronaar it is a holistic term which incorporates a commitment to be responsible towards our natural and human resources while ensuring we successfully produce our products on an ongoing basis without compromising the reserves for future generations. We want our children to find the same joy from nature that we do – with juicy fruit, clean water and air and greenery to give life to their surroundings.

It also means that we must thrive as a business as profits sustain us in being a socially responsible entity who invests in the sustainable development of our employees, our communities and our company while persistently fulfilling the needs of our customers.
